Synopsis

There are few places on Earth with such a variety of lands and climates assembled in the same small area. There are also few places so extremely exploited by human beings, but still desertic lands. These are the Canary Islands, an isolted group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean, just in front of the African northwestern coast.

Michael Schlamberger’s documentary “The Canary Islands” presents a fascinating, inteligent and stimulant nature; filmed with an unique and new perspective. Land, aereal and underwater pictures will take the spectator through an adventure beyond simple turism, in order to discover the islands like never before.
