Synopsis
A digital nomad couple achieves their dream of working remotely for a tech giant from a luxury apartment with views of the sea in a warm and modern Southern city. And yet the city seems familiar, not only because it increasingly resembles the rest of the cities disfigured by unchecked urban development, but because every day it provides them with a distinct soundtrack.
Carina Pierro Corso
Carina Pierro Corso graduated with a degree in Visual Arts from IA-UNICAMP and studied Sound and Image with a specialization in Animation at EA-UCP. She made her short film tudo que fica na superfície morre (Everything That Stays on the Surface Dies, 2021) during her first year of studies. It was screened at festivals and was awarded Best Student Short Film at the 2022 Premio Nacional de Animação. In 2022, she created the animation por favor, toque / please touch, which was exhibited as an artistic installation at Panorama #22 and Porto Femme 2023.
