Synopsis

Pedro Tomás explores the world through his unique gaze and tells us what he sees, be it the jungle, ducks, God, or flowers. He also lingers on the strange black desert left behind by the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on his native island.

Kornelijus Stučkus is a filmmaker and screenwriter based in Vilnius, Lithuania. He studied philosophy at the University of Vilnius and co-directed the documentary Peafowls Flew Away and Took My Thoughts With Them (2020) for Lithuanian national television. His latest film, Pedro Tomás explica el mundo, was selected for a distribution award at the Werner Herzog Film Accelerator.
