Synopsis
“ Río verde. El tiempo de los Yakurunas” is a poetic journey bound for the deepest forest guided by ayahuasca’s sounds. This film explores the time perception of three communities connected by Amazon’s water, introducing the audience to a landscape inhabited by shamans and archetypal societies.

Alvaro Sarmiento is a visual artist, director and scriptwriter. He founded a production company concerned about protection of Peruvian indigenous peoples’ rights.
Diego Sarmiento
Diego Sarmiento studied Audio-visual Communication at PUCP in Peru and is now doing a master’s degree on Documentary
