Synopsis
A journey through the geological history of the most active volcanic ridge in the Canary Islands, a history of fire, lava and ash that has been repeated since ancient times and that is still alive under the soil of La Palma.
He is considered to be one of the most prestigious nature documentary directors in Spain. At the Menigoute International Festival (France) he received the award for best pedagogical documentary for Canarias reductos de biodiversidad (capítulo I) (Canary Islands, Biodiversity Strongholds (Chapter I)). For years he has made nature documentaries in the Canary Islands to foster interest in the conservation of its wildlife. Among these are Chinijo (2002), selected by the Menigoute International Festival in France, and Teno, hombre y naturaleza (Teno, Man and Nature, 2006). The latter won the Canary Islands award for best documentary at the Docusur Festival.
