Sinopsis
Andoni Canela, a recognised nature photographer, embarks with his son Unai on a fascinating adventure. They travel in search of the last big cats on the planet: jaguars, tigers, pumas, cheetahs, leopards, lions… The difficulty of the challenge, the fabulous expression of wild nature and the sensitivity of Andoni and Unai turn the film into an exciting conservationist claim and an authentic journey of inner discovery.
Andoni Canela
Andoni Canela has worked since 1994 as a nature photographer and documentary filmmaker. His first feature-length documentary El viaje de Unai was launched in cinemas in 2016. He has won several awards at the following festivals: FICMA, FICCAT, FICMEC, OCEJON, NATURE TRACK and DOCS BARCELONA. In 2017 he premiered the docu-reality Espíritu salvaje (Wild Spirit) on the Cuatro television channel in prime time.
