Yon Bengoechea

Author

Director and filmmaker with a degree in sociology from the Universidad del País Vasco. Bengoechea made his first short film, Smart Watch, after working as an aid worker in Latin America, Cuba, and Colombia. In 2018, he founded Don Worry Films in Las Palmas. He directed Ponte el traje, Horror Vacui y Futuros, which won an award at Visionaria. He has won awards at Notodofilmfest and Festivalito, among others.
