In Garachico, as tourism rises and the ocean sets the pace, Ana empties her grandmother’s house. Every object brings back memories: a photograph (their last one together) forces her to face the unspoken farewell. She leaves the keys inside, and when a great wave interrupts her, she understands that home was never in the walls of the house, but in lived experience. New spaces will bring new memories, ones free from endings or beginnings as heavy as this.
