Synopsis

This film criticizes intensive livestock farming through the eyes of the animals. In a heavy and suggestive atmosphere, a cow and her calf, separated, struggle to find each other, confronting the viewer with a silent, accusatory discomfort. The film reveals the daily violence of the mega-farm before immersing us in their emotional world.

Aaron Blaise (Estados Unidos) is an animator and filmmaker with over two decades of work tied to Walt Disney. He was an animator for classic films such as The Lion King, Aladdin, and Mulan, and directed Brother Bear (2003), for which he was nominated for an Oscar. After leaving Disney, he developed independent projects and founded the educational platform CreatureArtTeacher. Snow Bear, which he made on his own over the course of three years, is his return to traditional hand-made animation.
