Almeida is an audiovisual creator with short film experience. His short Árido (Arid) was awarded the top prize in the FP – CEPA – EOI – EASD category. He directed the documentary El despertar (Waking), a thoughtful look at agriculture on the island of Lanzarote. Within the realm of social communication, he created the spot Terciopelo y seda (Velvet and Satin), which promotes equality through an eponymous poem by Canarian poet Pino Betancort.

Javier Cerdá lives on the island of La Palma, where he focuses on his work as a director and screenwriter. He is a cinematographer, director, screenwriter, and teacher with 25 years of professional experience. Trained at ECAM and EICTV, he has worked on international projects that have been nominated for and awarded Goya Awards.
