Un viaje por la historia geológica de la dorsal volcánica más activa de Canarias, una historia de fuego, lava y ceniza que se repite desde tiempos remotos y que aún sigue viva bajo el suelo de La Palma.

Está considerado como uno de los directores de documentales de naturaleza con más prestigio de España, con Canarias reductos de biodiversidad (capítulo I), recibió el premio de mejor documental pedagógico en el Festival Internacional Menigoute (Francia). Durante años ha realizado documentales de naturaleza en Canarias para promover el interés por la conservación de su vida salvaje. Cabe destacar Chinijo (2002), seleccionado por el Festival Internacional de Menigoute (Francia) y Teno, hombre y naturaleza (2006), premio Canarias al mejor documental en el Festival Docusur.
