Synopsis
Samuel is a boy living in Ponta Negra, a small coastal village in Paraty, Brazil. We accompany him as he goes about a pleasant daily life that unfolds to the rhythm of nature. The arrival of electricity and tourism to the village brings about the destruction of an idealized paradise.

His short films have been screened at several international film festivals. His first feature film, Samuel y la luz, was awarded the FEISAL Award for Best Film and Best Ibero-American Documentary Feature at the FICG festival in Guadalajara, Mexico, qualifying it for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film.
