Synopsis
The few thousand kilometers that separate Patagonia to the South Pole is a fascinating journey for explorers. After March of the Penguins (2005), director Luc Jacquet comes back for a visually-striking adventure, offering us in images what one cannot convey with words. A final journey to a vanishing continent and its inhabitants.
Luc Jacquet’s training in ethology, the study of animal behavior, armed him with a scientific rigor and naturalistic approach that complement the creative edge required when making films about nature. He achieved worldwide fame with March of the Penguins (2005), which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film.
